One of Queens Park Rangers' new signings, Djibril Cisse, has said that he has "absolutely no doubt" that the club will remain in the Premier League.
The Frenchman scored the opening goal in the London club's 2-2 draw at Aston Villa yesterday to open his Rangers account on his debut.
"I have absolutely no doubt that we can stay in the Premier League. I don't want to hear that word [relegation]," said Cisse, 30, after the game yesterday.
"We are a new team in the Premier League so it's understandable that we make a few mistakes sometimes, but to get a point is a good performance."
QPR boss Mark Hughes also said he was "delighted" with Cisse's start in a blue-and-white shirt.
