La Liga basement club Racing Santander have sacked manager Hector Cuper after a poor start to the season.
The former Inter Milan boss was only appointed in the summer but has been dismissed after leading the club to just one victory in their 13 league games so far this campaign.
Executives of Racing met with the Argentine to discuss the side's poor form earlier today before the club's sporting director Juanjo Gonzalez made the decision to relieve Cuper of his duties.
This is the latest incident in a string of problems for the Spanish side, who are also dealing with financial securities off the pitch.
