Rangers are reportedly monitoring Roma forward Umar Sadiq.
The 21-year-old joined the Serie A side in 2016, before being loaned out to Bologna and Torino in Italy and NAC Breda in the Netherlands.
Sadiq scored five times for the Eredivisie club last season, making 12 appearances in total under coach Mitchell van der Gaag.
According to Sky Sports News, new Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is interested in signing the Nigerian striker on a season-long loan.
The report adds that no agreement is in place yet, but Gerrard is keen to complete the deal as he is short of striking options following the departures of Kenny Miller and Jason Cummings.
