Real Madrid defender Pepe praises the consistency of his teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

Real Madrid defender Pepe has praised his teammate Cristiano Ronaldo for his consistency over the "past few years".

Ronaldo, who has scored an incredible 214 goals in 210 games for Madrid, has notched up 13 in 11 appearances this season.

"Every single one of my teammates has quality. All of them have shown that they deserve to be at Real Madrid," Pepe told Bwin's official website.

"However - Cristiano, because of everything that he has been doing over the past few years at Real Madrid - is a player who everyone watches and who impresses every day and in every match."

Real Madrid face AC Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday.
