Cristiano Ronaldo trains ahead of Borussia Dortmund clash

Cristiano Ronaldo trains for Real Madrid ahead of tonight's Champions League quarter-final second leg against Borussia Dortmund in Germany.

Cristiano Ronaldo has trained for Real Madrid ahead of tonight's Champions League quarter-final second leg against Borussia Dortmund in Germany.

Reports had claimed that the attacker would miss the European clash after failing to recover from a knee injury that forced the Ballon d'Or holder to miss Saturday's 4-0 win over Real Sociedad.

However, the Portuguese captain completed a training session with Los Blancos on Tuesday morning, which has boosted his hopes of starting at Signal Iduna Park.

Angel di Maria also trained on Tuesday for the Spanish outfit, who hold a 3-0 lead from the first leg in the Spanish capital last week.
