Barcelona are reportedly considering a summer approach for RB Leipzig attacker Dani Olmo.
The Spain international has had his injury problems during the 2021-22 campaign but has still made 25 appearances for his German club in all competitions, contributing four goals and five assists in the process.
Olmo's future has been the subject of much speculation in recent months, with both Barcelona and Real Madrid believed to be admirers of the versatile attacker.
According to journalist Ekrem Konur, the Catalan giants are keeping a close eye on the Spaniard's situation at Leipzig but are aware that it will be difficult to sign him due to their financial problems.
Olmo only has two years left to run on his contract in Germany, meaning that his Bundesliga outfit are not in a strong position to negotiate a large transfer fee.
The attacker came through the youth system at Barcelona, turning out for their youth teams between 2007 and 2014, but he failed to make the breakthrough, ultimately beginning his professional career at Dinamo Zagreb.
Olmo scored 34 goals and registered 28 assists in 124 appearances for Dinamo before making the move to Leipzig in January 2020.
Barcelona are also believed to be preparing to step up their contract talks with Ousmane Dembele, as the club bid to prevent the France international from leaving on a free transfer at the end of June.
