Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz has played down speculation linking him with a move to Real Madrid.
Madrid are reportedly considering the 23-year-old as a potential alternative to Manchester United's Paul Pogba and Tottenham Hotspur's Christian Eriksen.
However, Ruiz has said that he is "happy" in Naples and suggested that he will not be leaving the Italian giants in this summer's transfer window.
"I have a contract here and I am happy here, the fans can rest assured," Marca quotes Ruiz as saying. "I thank the fans for the support they have given me, thank you for your love, my welcome at the club has been very positive."
Ruiz made his first two appearances for Spain during the recent set of Euro 2020 qualification matches, appearing against both the Faroe Islands and Sweden.
The midfielder scored seven times in 40 appearances for Napoli last season, following his arrival from Real Betis ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.
