Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale is reportedly open to a Premier League return at the start of 2020.
The Wales international was widely linked with a move away from Zinedine Zidane's side during the summer, but a switch to the Chinese Super League broke down at the final moment.
Despite a difficult relationship with Zidane, Bale has been a key player for Los Blancos in the early stages of the 2019-20 campaign, scoring twice in three league outings and providing an assist.
The 30-year-old's future at the Bernabeu is still far from secure, though, and according to reports in Spain, he is open to a Premier League return when the January transfer window opens for business.
The Welshman represented Southampton on 45 occasions ahead of a move to Tottenham Hotspur, where he scored 55 times in 203 outings before a switch to Madrid in the summer of 2013.
Manchester United were linked with the attacker during the summer transfer window but reportedly decided against a move due to the cost of the deal.
