Real Madrid have announced that Marcelo has put pen to paper on a new five-year contract at the Bernabeu.
The 27-year-old, who operates as a left-back for the Spanish giants, has been part of the club since 2007.
Reports emerged in the last week or so claiming that Madrid were hopeful of tying Marcelo down to a new contract, and it appears that they got their wish.
Via the La Liga's club's official website, it was announced that the Brazilian has signed a deal that will expire in June 2020.
The future of one of Madrid's other defenders, Sergio Ramos, remains in doubt as Manchester United are believed to be keen to sign the Spaniard.
