Mauricio Pochettino wants Tottenham Hotspur to go all the way in Europa League

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino urges his players to push on and win the Europa League this season.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino appears to have put the Europa League as a priority this season as he has claimed that he wants his players to go all the way and win the trophy.

The North London outfit kicked off their European campaign on Thursday night with a 3-1 win over Group J opponents Qarabag FK at White Hart Lane.

Spurs went a goal down inside the seventh minute of the first half, but two goals from summer signing Son Heung-min and another from Erik Lamela gave the hosts all three points.

"It is not easy to win the Europa league," Pochettino told reporters. "Whether it is more realistic or not is the big question, like last season. As a big club we have to try to arrive in the final and win the Europa League."

This weekend, Tottenham will turn their attention to their Premier League match against Crystal Palace.
