Tottenham Hotspur dumped out of FA Cup by Leicester City

Leicester City score twice late on to beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 in their FA Cup tie at White Hart Lane.

Leicester City came from behind to book their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup by claiming a 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon.

The Foxes had the first big chance of the match when Andrej Kramaric was found inside the box by Jeffrey Schlupp, but he saw his effort from close range saved by Michel Vorm.

Vorm was called into action again moments later as he kept out Schlupp's powerful drive.

Despite Leicester's good start to the match, it was Spurs who broke the deadlock in the 19th minute.

Roberto Soldado was fouled in box by Liam Moore and Andros Townsend stepped up to convert from the penalty spot.

Spurs had a chance to double their lead just past the half-hour mark, but Mark Schwarzer was equal to Townsend's effort.

At the end of the first half, Leicester felt that they should have been given a penalty when Kramaric rounded Vorm and went down under the keeper's challenge, but instead the Croatian was booked for diving.

Erik Lamela had another chance to double the home side's lead after the break, but he put his effort wide of the post.

With seven minutes left to play, Leonardo Ulloa drew Leicester level, as he controlled a wayward shot from Schlupp before burying an effort past Vorm.

The game looked to be heading for a draw until Schlupp volleyed in Danny Simpson's cross through Vorm in stoppage time to send the Foxes through to the next round.
