Son Heung-min "very happy" with first Tottenham Hotspur Premier League goal

Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min admits that he is "very happy" after clinching his first Premier League goal following his side's 1-0 win against Crystal Palace.

Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min has expressed his delight in clinching his first Premier League goal following his side's 1-0 win against Crystal Palace.

The South Korea international, signed from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer, scored the winner at White Hart Lane when he collected Christian Eriksen's ball, bore down on goal and fired straight past Alex McCarthy.

Son told Sky Sports News after Sunday's game: "I'm very happy because we win the first home game and I score the first Premier League goal. I hope every week is like this.

"It's amazing [to play in the Premier League], a really different style to the Bundesliga, more power and speed. I like this and am happy to play."

The result puts Spurs ninth in the Premier League table.
