Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte to miss Wolverhampton Wanderers clash?

Antonio Conte will reportedly miss Tottenham Hotspur's clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend, sparking more rumours that he will leave the club this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte will reportedly be absent from the touchline again for their clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend.

The Italian will remain in his homeland for a little longer before his expected return in time for their crucial Champions League second leg with AC Milan in midweek.

The Spurs boss has been recovering in Italy following surgery to remove his gallbladder last month.

However, with his contract up in the summer, his extended absence has started rumours suggesting Conte and Spurs will go their separate ways at the end of the season.

After the club's disappointing FA Cup defeat to Sheffield United in midweek, the Daily Mail claim the feeling around the club points towards a summer exit for Conte, who will seek to return to his native Italy.

It has been a very difficult few months for Conte, as his recent illness has come so soon after tragedy struck twice, following the deaths of Gian Piero Ventrone and Gianluca Vialli - two men very close to Conte.

Even though Spurs have the option to extend his contract by another year, the events of the past few months suggest that this is unlikely.

Cristian Stellini will take charge on the touchline again for Tottenham in what will be an important clash in the race for the top four at Molineux on Saturday.
