Barcelona reportedly provide Juventus with permission to hold talks with Arthur regarding a potential transfer during the next window.

Juventus have reportedly been given permission to hold transfer talks with Barcelona midfielder Arthur.

While Arthur has made 67 appearances in all competitions since moving to Camp Nou in 2018, the 23-year-old is no longer regarded as first choice at the Catalan giants.

With Barcelona needing to raise funds as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and to boost their efforts in the transfer market, it has been suggested that the Brazilian will be made available during the next window.

Although Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with an approach, reports in Spain suggest that Juventus are in pole position to conclude a deal.

Barcelona officials have allegedly provided the Italian outfit with the chance to speak with Arthur over the coming weeks.

Juventus are said to be prepared to pay 'a generous sum' to secure the services of the player.
