Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified FC Koln youngster Ismail Jakobs as a potential summer signing.
Despite only breaking into the first team earlier this season, Jakobs has already established himself as an important member of the squad, contributing two goals from nine appearances in the Bundesliga.
According to the Daily Mail, Spurs boss Jose Mourinho has taken an interest in the 20-year-old, who can play on the left wing and at left-back.
While the North London outfit have Ben Davies and Ryan Sessegnon at their disposal, Jakobs may be regarded as a replacement for Danny Rose.
Leicester City are also said to be monitoring the situation with Brendan Rodgers ready to add numbers to his squad ahead of an expected European campaign next season.
Jakobs has just under two-and-a-half years left on his contract.
