Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly plotting a double swoop for midfielders Fabian Delph and Kevin Kampl in January.
According to The People, the Argentine coach is keen to improve his midfield options and sent scouts to watch Kampl play for Red Bull Salzburg in their Europa League victory over Celtic on Thursday.
While big-spending Salzburg still have a contract with the 24-year-old, it is understood that Spurs would be able to offer wages that could tempt the German-born Slovenia international to move to White Hart Lane.
Delph is in the final year of his contract with Aston Villa and manager Paul Lambert may have to cash in on the player in January or face losing the England midfielder for nothing next summer.
The 25-year-old former Leeds United star is currently sidelined with a shoulder injury.
