Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly accepted that Christian Eriksen is likely to leave the club this summer with his contract due to expire at the end of the 2019-2020 campaign.
Eriksen, 27, has been with Tottenham since 2013, making more than 250 appearances for the club.
The Denmark international will see his current deal expire next summer, though, and Real Madrid continue to be strongly linked with a swoop for the playmaker.
According to the Daily Mail, Spurs have accepted that Eriksen is likely to move on at the end of the season, but the London club will be active in the market as they chase a number of signings.
Earlier this week, Eriksen's agent, Martin Schoots, refused to comment on the speculation linking his client with a switch to the Bernabeu in this summer's transfer window.
