Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly set their sights on signing Franco Vazquez from Palermo this summer.
The 27-year-old playmaker was heavily linked with a move away from the Serie A outfit last summer, but decided to stay at the Stadio Renzo Barbera following talks with the club's hierarchy.
However, Tuttosport report that Spurs are now considering a bid for the player as Mauricio Pochettino looks to add reinforcements to the team that launched an unexpected title challenge in the season just finished.
The report claims that Palermo would allow Vazquez, who recorded the most assists in Serie A during the 2014-15 campaign, to leave if Spurs offered around £20m.
The Argentinian-born midfielder has made two appearances for Italy, but was not included in Antonio Conte's provisional squad for Euro 2016.
