Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing to renew their interest in Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes ahead of the January transfer window.
The 25-year-old was strongly linked with a move to Spurs over the summer, while Manchester United were also credited with an interest in the Portugal international.
Fernandes ultimately remained with Sporting, and the attacker has once again been in fine form this season, scoring seven times and registering five assists in 10 appearances in all competitions.
The Portuguese has a contract with his current club until the summer of 2023, but there remain suggestions that he is keen to leave the Green and Whites to further his career.
According to A Bola, Tottenham will consider reigniting their interest during the January transfer window amid the uncertainty surrounding the future of Christian Eriksen.
Mauricio Pochettino's side have only collected 11 points from their eight Premier League matches this season to occupy ninth position in the table.
