Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly quoted €25m (£21.5m) for the signature of Juventus and USA midfielder Weston McKennie.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly been quoted €25m (£21.5m) for the signature of Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie.

The USA international is believed to be a target of Antonio Conte's, with his future with the Old Lady currently shrouded in uncertainty.

McKennie is under contract at the Allianz Stadium until the summer of 2025, having made his loan move from Schalke permanent last year, and he has been a regular of Massimiliano Allegri's.

The 24-year-old has three goals and one assist to boast from 16 games in all competitions this season, and he has started both of the USA's games at the 2022 World Cup so far.

McKennie impressed with his display against England in Friday's goalless draw in Group B, and Juventus are supposedly willing to sell the American for the right price.

According to Calciomercato, Juventus are prepared to accept a fee as low as €25m (£21.5m) for McKennie, but a financial package of €30m (£25.9m) may be required to secure his services.

The report adds that Juventus would even be willing to offload McKennie in January if a suitable offer was tabled, despite their myriad of injury problems in the 2022-23 season.

Tottenham are not believed to have made a firm offer for the former Schalke youngster, but Fabio Paratici is keeping a close eye on developments surrounding his future.

Juventus brought in Leandro Paredes on loan from Paris Saint-Germain to add competition to the midfield over the summer, and they are believed to be keen to sign the Argentine on a permanent basis.

Furthermore, Allegri's men are alleged to have agreed a deal to sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio in 2023, heightening their need to raise funds through player sales.

McKennie has represented Juventus on 91 occasions since arriving on loan from Schalke in 2020, contributing 13 goals and four assists for the Old Lady in that time.

The midfielder has won one Coppa Italia and one Supercoppa Italiana in black and white in that time, and he could become the latest Italy-based player to make the move to Conte's Tottenham.

The former Juve boss captured Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski from his old club in the most recent January window, and both players immediately established themselves as mainstays in the first XI.

Paratici and Conte's links also saw Tottenham move for Ivan Perisic and Destiny Udogie in the summer, with the latter remaining on loan at Udinese until the end of the season.

Conte has been tipped to return to the Juventus dugout as a possible replacement for Allegri, but the Italian shot down the "disrespectful" links earlier in the season.
