Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has said that his side did not deserve to lose to Fulham in their Premier League match this afternoon.
Darren Bent scored a late winner at Craven Cottage to give Fulham all three points, but Hughes was adamant that his side played the better football and crucial decisions went against them.
"I think in terms of the team more likely to win the game it was us. I thought we had control of the game and tried to create opportunities for ourselves, which I think we did," he told the club's official website.
"We can't really believe we've lost the game to be totally honest. I'm disappointed that two key decisions didn't go for us as they were both stone-wall penalties in my view.
"Scoring the first goal in a Premier League game is huge, especially for the away game, and those key decisions affected the outcome of the game."
Stoke are currently 16th in the Premier League table after this afternoon's results.
