Reports have suggested that Leicester City are ready to make a loan bid for Stoke City defender Danny Higginbotham.
The 33-year-old has reportedly been told that he can leave the Britannia Stadium this summer after spending part of last season at Nottingham Forest.
Potters manager Tony Pulis is expected to make room in his squad as they prepare to begin their new Premier League campaign.
Sky Sports News have reported that Leicester will move to take Higginbotham for the season as they bid for promotion from the Championship.
Higgingbotham has been at Stoke since 2008.
