Lee Cattermole not concerned by Sunderland start

Sunderland midfielder Lee Cattermole is adamant that his side will climb the Premier League table soon enough by turning their draws into wins.

Sunderland midfielder Lee Cattermole has insisted that his side aren't worried about their failure to win any of their opening six matches of the season.

The Black Cats have drawn five times and lost once to start their campaign, but the 26-year-old is adamant that his side can quickly move up the Premier League table by turning those draws into victories.

Cattermole told the club's official website: "We are consistent and we look tough – I don't think anyone is going to get any easy game against us.

"The way we are playing will stand us in good stead and soon enough these draws are going to start turning into wins.

"We are a few games unbeaten and there aren't many teams like that in the Barclays Premier League, there are a lot of freak results but every week we have looked solid so we will keep building."

Sunderland face Stoke City in their clash on Saturday at the Stadium of Light.
