Swansea reportedly agree a £2m deal with Blackburn for midfielder Keith Andrews, who is currently on loan at Ipswich.

Swansea City have agreed a £2m deal with Blackburn Rovers for the January transfer of Keith Andrews, according to The Mirror.

The Irish international is currently on loan at Championship side Ipswich Town, where he has been putting in some impressive performances.

He is the Tractor Boys' top scorer this season with eight goals, two of which came in the memorable 5-3 win at Barnsley on Saturday.

Paul Jewell also wanted to bring the 30-year-old to Portman Road but could not compete with the Swans' offer.

Another Town loanee from the Premier League, Danny Collins, could also be on the move in January.

The Stoke defender has been linked with a £500,000 switch to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
