Fenerbahce head coach Jose Mourinho has reportedly made contact with legendary forward Cristiano Ronaldo to discuss a possible move for the Al-Nassr star next year.

The 39-year-old's contract with Al-Nassr is due to expire in the middle of 2025, but he has no plans to retire, with the attacker expected to represent Portugal at the 2026 World Cup.

Ronaldo has scored an incredible 911 career goals, including 11 in 16 appearances at club level during the 2024-25 campaign, while he managed five goals in four appearances for Portugal in the group stage of the 2024-25 UEFA Nations League.

The forward said earlier this month that he would likely retire "in one or two years".

Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Ajax defender Devyne Rensch next summer, with the Netherlands international potentially being available on a free transfer.

The 21-year-old has again been a vital player for Ajax during the 2024-25 campaign, making 17 appearances in all competitions, scoring once and registering one assist, but there is doubt when it comes to his future in Amsterdam.

The right-back's contract is due to expire next summer, and the Dutch giants have thus far been unsuccessful in their attempts to sign him to an extension, with a number of clubs said to be keeping a close eye on the situation.

According to SPORT, Barcelona want to bring a new right-back to Camp Nou next year, and Rensch has been identified as the number one target, with scouts from the Catalan outfit said to have watched him regularly this season.

Gavi is believed to be close to signing a new deal, while Pedri recently revealed that good progress is being made in contract negotiations.

Barcelona are also keen to negotiate a new deal with Yamal despite the fact he only signed his latest deal last year to keep him at the club until June 2026.

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has said that the club will not make any firm plans when it comes to the January transfer window until after their clash with Sevilla on December 22.

Los Blancos have lost both Eder Militao and Dani Carvajal to ACL injuries this term, with the pair out for the remainder of the season, while Lucas Vazquez, Rodrygo, Aurelien Tchouameni and David Alaba are also currently on the sidelines.

Real Madrid have recently been linked with a move for their former player Casemiro, with Los Blancos said to be open to bringing the experienced midfielder back to Bernabeu from Manchester United, potentially in January.

However, Ancelotti refused to give anything away when questioned on his club's plans during his press conference to preview Sunday's La Liga clash with Leganes.

Sunderland boss Regis Le Bris has insisted Chris Rigg and Jobe Bellingham are best served to stay put for the time being despite being linked with moves away from the club.

Rigg has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United after showcasing his talents in his 40 competitive appearances for Sunderland's first team.

Man United are believed to be keeping a close eye on the 17-year-old's performances as they weigh up a potential for the highly-rated talent.

The England Under-18 international is also attracting interest from Chelsea and Real Madrid after being touted as 'the next Roy Keane'.

Six goals and two assists from 19 appearances were netted during that campaign, and Ferguson now has 17 strikes and five assists from his 73 outings in a Brighton shirt.
