Thursday's Brasileiro predictions including Flamengo vs. Bahia

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Brasileiro fixtures, including Flamengo vs. Bahia.

Vitoria vs. Atletico Mineiro (Thursday, 10.30pm)

Aiming to secure back-to-back league successes for the first time in 2024, newly-promoted Vitoria will welcome Atletico Mineiro to Estadio Manoel Barradas on Thursday evening for a Brasileiro clash.

The Black and Red managed to earn their maiden win of the term last time out versus Internacional, whilst the Roosters were thrashed by Brazilian giants Palmeiras on home soil.

We say: Vitoria 1-2 Atletico Mineiro

After earning their first league success of the term on the weekend, Vitoria should be relatively confident of repeating the trick on Thursday.

That being said, the challenge of Atletico Mineiro is set to be a stern one, and even without a number of key stars, the visitors should have enough to secure three points.

Flamengo vs. Bahia (Friday, 12.00am)

Two sides looking to maintain their strong start to the Brasileiro season will clash when Flamengo host Bahia at the Maracana on Friday.

Both sides are on 18 points heading into this match, but the hosts are ahead due to a superior goal difference.

We say: Flamengo 1-1 Bahia

This is shaping up to be a tricky encounter based on current form. However, despite their good spell, Bahia have not managed to win more than once away from home. Flamengo, on the other hand, have shown some vulnerability at home this season. For these reasons, we are predicting a draw.

Palmeiras vs. Bragantino (Friday, 1.30am)

Palmeiras and Bragantino square off in the Brazilian top flight on Thursday evening with just two points separating the teams in the table.

While the home side are fifth and within touching distance of the leaders, the visitors are back down in seventh position after an inconsistent run of form.

We say: Palmeiras 2-0 Bragantino

Bragantino will be hopeful that they can take advantage of Palmeiras potentially being distracted by another big-money sale being arranged for a future date, yet we can only see one side winning this contest. A head of steam appears to be building and another victory and clean sheet could be posted here.
