Scotland Yard have confirmed that a 41-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of a Wales fan at Wembley on Tuesday.
Michael Dye, 44, was found outside Wembley Stadium with head injuries before England's 1-0 win over Wales in their Euro 2012 qualifying match.
Dye was taken to hospital but later died from his injuries, with a post-mortem revealing that he had died as a result of a blunt trauma to the back of his head.
The suspect was arrested on Friday night in Worcestershire and is set to appear in court on Monday.
"We have been informed that a 41-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter following the death of Michael Dye," said a Scotland Yard spokesman.
"We are awaiting confirmation of his details and where he will be appearing in court on Monday."
Six other men arrested in connection with the incident have been released without charge.
