Newly-appointed Wales captain Ashley Williams has declared that he will speak to former skipper Aaron Ramsey this week to ensure there is no rift between the pair.
Arsenal midfielder Ramsey was stripped of the captaincy by manager Wales manager Chris Coleman, who decided to take action after his team were humiliated 6-1 by Serbia last month.
Williams spoke of his pride at being handed the armband this week, but insisted that one of his first duties will be to seek out Ramsey to clear the air.
The Swansea City defender told the South Wales Evening Post: "I haven't spoken to Aaron yet but I'll speak to him at the camp.
"I know people will talk about it and look into it, but I get on with Aaron well and I'm sure it's going to be okay. We'll just get on with it and we won't probably even speak about the captaincy. It will just be a normal camp."
Wales go in search of their first win of the 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign when they take on Scotland in a British derby on Friday, October 12.
