Watford are reportedly preparing a £10m move for Gent goalkeeper Lovre Kalinic.
The Hornets are believed to be in the market for a new number one in the latter stages of the transfer window, despite Heurelho Gomes recently signing a new contract at Vicarage Road.
Sporting Lisbon's Rui Patricio had been linked with a move to Marco Silva's side, but according to The Sun, Watford have now identified 6ft 7inch goalkeeper Kalinic as the player to fill the sticks this season.
The report claims that the 27-year-old, who missed out on a move to Aston Villa two years ago due to problems over a work permit, could cost Watford in the region of £10m.
Watford opened their 2017-18 Premier League campaign with a 3-3 draw at home to Liverpool on Saturday afternoon.
