Romelu Lukaku says that he is enjoying himself at West Bromwich Albion and does not want to return to Chelsea until the end of next season.

Romelu Lukaku has revealed that he wants to stay at West Bromwich Albion until the end of the 2013-14 season.

The 19-year-old Belgium international striker joined the Baggies on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea last summer.

"At the end of my career, if I have had a chance at a really top team I think I will be a very happy man," The Independent quotes him as saying.

"We will see if I get that chance at Chelsea. The next two years will be good for me at West Brom. They will help me build up for a great career, that is for sure.

"Hopefully, I'll be here for the next two years. It will be very important to play and have a good squad. We have a manager who is very good, we've very good players that can help him every day and hopefully, if I continue like this, I will get more regular football."

Lukaku added that talks over extending his loan spell at West Brom will begin this month.

"I think it will be more beneficial to stay here than go back to Chelsea," he said. "There are not talks about it yet, but we will see; hopefully after the January window we will be able to start talking about that.

"I am happy here because I am playing, but I am not happy, at the moment, because we are not winning. I play football to win, I always want to win.

"I have a strong affinity with West Brom already. You have to be somewhere where you are connected with the people. You have to be in a good environment."

Lukaku joined Chelsea from Belgian club Anderlecht in 2011.
