Bournemouth have reportedly had a £1m offer for Carlton Cole accepted by West Ham United.
However, the East Londoners will let the striker decide if a move down to the Championship would be beneficial for his career.
The 30-year-old was among the goals as West Ham recorded a 3-1 win over Crystal Palace at the weekend, but when all of his fellow centre-forwards are fit, it is expected that Cole will be fifth in Sam Allardyce's pecking order behind Enner Valencia, Mauro Zarate, Diafra Sakho, and club-record signing Andy Carroll.
That has brought about the interest from the Cherries, who could hold talks with the seven-capped England international in the near future, according to The Times.
Cole joined West Ham in 2006 from Chelsea and he went on to return to Upton Park in 2013 following his release by the club earlier that summer.
