Real Sociedad reportedly want £17.7m for Wolverhampton Wanderers target Raul Jimenez.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly been told that they must pay £17.7m to sign striker Willian Jose from Real Sociedad.

Nuno Espirito Santo's side are in the market for a new player to lead their line, having badly struggled since losing Raul Jimenez to a long-term head injury.

Willian Jose has emerged as a rumoured option but, according to the Express & Star, Wolves will not be able to land the 29-year-old on the cheap.

Wanderers are said to be weighing up whether to push through with a deal or find a cheaper alternative before the January window closes in a little over a week's time.

Nuno's men are 14th in the Premier League following a run of one win in nine matches.
