Aston Villa have reportedly been successful with a bid for Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Kortney Hause.
Manager Dean Smith has enjoyed a strong start to life as boss of the West Midlands outfit with 23 points being recorded from 14 games in the Championship.
However, Villa have struggled at the back since the start of the campaign, and according to The Sun, Smith is close to adding a fresh face in defence.
The report claims that Wolves have decided to accept an offer for Hause, who has not played a single minute of Premier League football this season.
The 23-year-old's only outings have come in the EFL Cup, and Wolves appear happy to cash in on the left-sided defender in the coming days.
Hause has made a total of 80 appearances for Wolves in all competitions.
