Japanese F1 engine supplier Honda are reportedly looking to "move mountains" to lure Fernando Alonso away from Ferrari to drive for McLaren in 2015.
The Spaniard's future has been the subject of intense speculation for some time, with the two-time world champion recently linked with a swap which would have seen Alonso and Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel trade places.
However, Speed Week claims that McLaren's new engine partner from next season is planning to woo the 33-year-old as early as the next month's Japanese Grand Prix.
Alonso, who spent a solitary season at McLaren in 2007, is currently fifth in the drivers' rankings.
