Ferrari's unexpected choice to switch to a blue livery for the upcoming Miami race now makes more sense.

As Lewis Hamilton plans his high-profile transfer to Maranello starting in 2025, Ferrari has declared a major sponsorship agreement with HP, an American tech firm known for its blue logo.

Ferrari is now renamed Scuderia Ferrari HP, and the car's iconic red will soon feature prominent blue HP logos.

Mercedes, where Hamilton currently races, is sponsored by HPE, a spun-off company called Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

According to estimates from Italy's Corriere della Sera, the Ferrari sponsorship with HP is valued at an impressive 100 million euros.

In other developments, after Visa joined forces with Red Bull and its junior team, Mastercard seeks entry into Formula 1, per Sport Business. The report highlights McLaren as the frontrunner to secure a partnership over three other "top teams."
