Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen was quick to play down the significance of his crash in pre-season testing ahead of the new Formula 1 season.
The Finn spun his car at Turn 4 of the Bahrain International Circuit on Saturday before careering into barrier, an incident which appeared to do some damage, but Raikkonen believes that only problem resulting from the crash was the extra work he gave to his mechanics.
He was quoted by GPUpdate.net: "Luckily, it was right at the end of the day. I'm only sorry because it means the team now has more work to do.
"We have managed to improve some things compared to Jerez and we are continuing to understand more about the behaviour of the car.
"We tried various solutions to try to be as well prepared as we can for the next test and the start of the season."
Raikkonen and the rest of the F1 grid will have one more test session in Bahrain before the beginning of the season, in Australia on March 16.
