Nico Hulkenberg has been selected by Force India to partner Paul Di Resta in the team's 2012 lineup.
Hulkenberg, who was dropped by Williams in 2010, will replace fellow German Adrian Sutil for the 2012 season.
Scotland's Paul Di Resta will begin his second season with the team following a successful rookie campaign in which he earned a credible 27 points.
Team principal Vijay Mallya said: "In Paul and Nico we have two extremely talented drivers with tremendous potential."
Di Resta's former teammate is now being tipped to fill the vacant position at Williams.
