Sebastian Vettel wins inaugural Indian Grand Prix

Driver's champion Sebastian Vettel claims another victory, winning the inaugural Indian Grand Prix at the Buddh International Circuit.

Sebastian Vettel claimed his 11th victory of a championship-winning season by winning the inaugural Indian Grand Prix.

The Red Bull driver started on pole and led all the way, finishing four seconds ahead of McLaren's Jenson Button.

Spaniard Fernando Alonso completed the podium lineup in a result which mirrored the driver's world championship standings.

Briton Lewis Hamilton crossed in seventh place, despite a collision with Ferrari's Felipe Massa, who retired 32 laps in.

Mark Webber, Niko Rosberg and Michael Schumacher finished 4th, 5th and 6th respectively in the first race ever held at the Buddh International Circuit.

Vettel secured consecutive driver's championships in Japan earlier this month.
