Lewis Hamilton reassured after Silverstone win

Lewis Hamilton is hoping to take the positives from the Silverstone win last time out into the German Grand Prix.

Lewis Hamilton has said that he is confident ahead of the German Grand Prix following his race win at Silverstone.

The Brit insists that 'anything can happen' after winning in front of 120,000 home fans at the British Grand Prix last time out.

"I look at the Silverstone result very positively. It's a massive turnaround and it just shows you that everything is possible, no matter how difficult or bad it is," Hamilton said, according to The Mirror.

"Every day there is a new opportunity and I now see an opportunity to turn things around while knowing that there is still a long way to go."

Hamilton was second-fastest in practice behind Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg, who has the home support this weekend at the German Grand Prix.
