Lewis Hamilton "incredibly happy" with Hungarian Grand Prix pole position

Mercedes's Lewis Hamilton says that he is "incredibly happy" with his performance after securing pole position for the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Lewis Hamilton has admitted that he is "incredibly happy" with his Mercedes's performance at the Hungarian Grand Prix after he secured pole position for Sunday's race.

The defending Formula 1 world champion finished ahead of teammate Nico Rosberg in qualifying at the Hungaroring to claim his ninth pole of the season.

At the post-qualifying press conference, the Briton said: "I'm incredibly happy with the weekend, I can't remember having a performance as good as this."

Hamilton has won the Hungary race four times in eight previous appearances.
