Nico Rosberg fastest in final practice ahead of Singapore Grand Prix

Nico Rosberg of Mercedes finishes fastest in the third and final practice session ahead of qualifying for the Singapore Grand Prix.

Nico Rosberg finished fastest during the final practice session ahead of Sunday's Singapore Grand Prix, having edged out Max Verstappen by just six hundreths of a second.

The Mercedes driver kept his position at the top of the practice sessions after claiming top spot on Saturday with a time of 1:44.352, but with Red Bull's Verstappen coming so close qualifying could now prove to be a tight affair.

Elsewhere in the running, a packed grid late on prevented Lewis Hamilton from stealing in another practice lap, leaving the Mercedes man to settle for P8 at 1:45.806 after a mistake-laden session.

Qualifying is due to begin at 2pm UK time.
