Sebastian Vettel tops second Abu Dhabi practice

Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel gets his preparations for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix off to a positive start by clocking the fastest time in the second practice.

Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel has secured the fastest time in the second practice of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, which gets underway on Sunday.

The 25-year-old reigning champion, who currently leads in the drivers' rankings, clocked the quickest time around the track and just edged McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton, who was fastest in the first practice.

Hamilton's teammate Jenson Button kept up the pace by securing the third-quickest time, while Red Bull's Mark Webber completed the track in the fourth-best time.

Meanwhile, Ferrari's Fernando Alonso, who is Vettel's closest challenger with three races left to go in the season, recorded the seventh fastest-time in Abu Dhabi.
