Luke Donald has been named the PGA Tour's Player of the Year for his consistent excellence in the US this season.
The Englishman completed a historic double on Sunday by claiming the European Tour's Race to Dubai to become the first man to win the money lists on both sides of the Atlantic.
The world number one beat Keegan Bradley, who was named Rookie of the Year, Bill Haas, Webb Simpson and Nick Watney to the accolade.
"That's a great honour to cap off what has obviously been an amazing year for me," the Englishman said.
He later added on his Twitter account: "Thank you to all my fellow players for voting me PGA Tour Player of the Year. Congrats to @Keegan_Bradley for being ROY #2011wasgoodtome!"
He has one more tournament left to play this season, the Australian Masters, which begins on Thursday in Melbourne.
