The British duo of Paul Lawrie and Graeme McDowell have reached the last four of the Volvo World Matchplay in Spain.
Lawrie, 43, played faultlessly on his way to a 6&5 victory over South African veteran Retief Goosen, while former US PGA champion McDowell overcame Spaniard Sergio Garcia in sudden death.
Former Open winner Lawrie will face the big-hitting Nicolas Colsaerts in the semis after the Belgian took out American Brandt Snedeker 4&3.
McDowell, 32, will take on home favourite Rafael Cabrera-Bello at the Finca Cortesin course in Malaga after the 16th seed defeated fellow countryman Alvaro Quiros 3&1.
The semi-finals get underway this morning before the final later this afternoon.
