Rory McIlroy has missed the cut for the third consecutive tournament following a disappointing second round at the Jack Nicklaus Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio.
The world number two failed to hole a single birdie on Friday as a score of 79 saw him end on six-over-par.
The supposed slump in form comes just 13 days before he defends his US Open title.
South Africa's Rory Sabbatini leads the field on six-under going into the weekend, while Tiger Woods shot five birdies to give him a share of second on five-under.
Elsewhere, Jim Furyk is one of three players currently on four-under.
