Tiger Woods has admitted that he would regard regaining the world number one ranking as a 'pretty good achievement'.
Woods has been beset by injuries, personal problems and lack of form in recent years, but after climbing back up to second in the world golf rankings, he has now set his eyes on top spot.
Ahead of the Bridgestone Invitational, Woods said: "It would be nice to get back there. I've had some wins, I've had some very high finishes and I have been consistent. That's how you get to be one of the top players in the world.
"To be ranked as low as I did and then come all the way back to, as of right now, number two, that's pretty good."
Woods can move to the top of the world rankings by winning this week's tournament, provided that current number one Luke Donald finishes third or worse.
