Branden Grace cruises to Alfred Dunhill Championship title

Branden Grace secures a seven-shot victory at the Alfred Dunhill Championship to claim his first European Tour title in two years.

Branden Grace claimed his first European Tour title in two years courtesy of an emphatic display which secured a seven-shot victory at the Alfred Dunhill Championship.

The 26-year-old began the final day with a one-shot lead over Lucas Bjerregaard, but a birdie on the second hole, combined with the Dane's bogey on the first, saw him gain some breathing space early on.

Grace went on to card a round of four-under par 68 to finish on 20-under overall, while Bjerregaard faded away to close on 13 under at Leopard Creek Country Golf Club.

Louis Oosthuizen provided the toughest competition for his South African compatriot, ending seven shots behind, while English duo Andrew Johnston and Danny Willett finished in third and fourth spot respectively.
