English duo James Morrison and David Howell top the leaderboard after round three of the Open de Espana.

James Morrison and David Howell have opened up a two-shot advantage after round three of the Open de Espana.

The English pair recorded rounds of 68 and 69 respectively to move clear of Francesco Molinari, who recorded a double bogey on the 16th to drop back into third position.

Emiliano Grillo and Darren Fichardt share fourth place, while Sergio Garcia, who crept inside the cut-line on Friday, hit a round of 67 to move to within five of the lead.

The Spaniard is one of six players in seventh place, while Miguel Angel Jimenez remains in contention after a level-par 72 left him a shot adrift of his countryman.
