Max Whitlock has collected a silver medal for Team England at the pommel horse event at the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.
Earlier the Olympic champion suffered disappointment in the floor event as he lost his title and failed to medal following a shaky performance.
Whitlock was back to his best just an hour later though, scoring a 15.100 from the judges for his routine on the horse.
That score was indeed a winning one, but not for Whitlock - 18-year-old Rhys McClenaghan also scored a 15.100 from the panel and, with a superior execution mark, earned gold for Northern Ireland - their first medal of the Games so far.
Bronze went the way of Canada and Zachary Clay, who scored 14.300, while Whitlock's teammate James Hall finished fifth on the leaderboard with 14.066.
