Scotland's Daniel Keatings takes pommel horse gold

Scotland gymnast Daniel Keatings wins gold in the pommel horse final at the Commonwealth Games.

Scotland gymnast Daniel Keatings has won the gold in the men's pommel horse final at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Keatings was one of the first competitors on the apparatus, and he threw down the gauntlet by posting a score of 16.058.

Defending champion Louis Smith appeared to be on for a good score, but he lost his momentum while building up to his dismount, leaving him behind the Scot.

England's Max Whitlock, who has already won three golds at these Games, was the final gymnast to take to the pommel horse, but he came up just short to finish second.
